On 26th March we had a visit from about 20 members of the Malvern U3A Geology group. They had braved the forecast of imminent rain and walked up from Colwall, taking in the views from Oyster Hill on the way.

\nThe group arrived in bright sunshine, so were able to spend some time exploring the quarry and looking for fossils. \u00a0There were some interesting discussions on the fossils as well as the structure of the area.
\n
\nOne of the changes of note has been the descent of several more boulders from the rock face. \u00a0The Champions have been keeping an eye on several sections over the last year, and the persistent rain over the winter has done its work. \u00a0Time will tell whether the rubble will produce any fossils.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
