Rudge End Quarry

Rudge End Quarry is a limestone quarry located on the southern edge of Haugh Wood near Hereford. There are two rock faces in the quarry, both of which extend along the eastern border of the site. Haugh Wood is an important woodland for wildlife and, within the quarry, many important plant and animal species can be found including the lime-loving plant Stinking Hellebore, and the poisonous Adder.
